Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to perform full-time hospice visits to clients located throughout Upper Bucks County. As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team providing home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to help clients remain at home.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
• At least one year of work experience in a caregiving role is preferred.
• Must pass BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
• Criminal background check completed.
• Meet all state requirements to work as a Home Health Aide / CNA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide light housekeeping and home management support.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Support range of motion exercises and transfers.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the care team.
• Administer medication assistance as directed.

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:

• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the Pennsylvania Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides / CNA - Certified Nurse Aide :

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing

• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
