Signature HealthCARE Bremen is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct resident care under supervision, assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and support safety and dignity. You will work as part of a responsive nursing team in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, and other information as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
