Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Bremen is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will support ADLs, safety, and comfort while maintaining dignity and rights within the care environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication to ensure high-quality resident experiences in a long-term and rehabilitative setting. Growth and training opportunities are highlighted in our supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have integrity and ability to work with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, and food consumption.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.

How you Will make a difference
