Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care in a 150-bed facility. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and support a safe, respectful environment for residents with dementia and other needs.

You will work under licensed nursing staff, collaborate with the care team, and contribute to our mission of person-directed care and quality outcomes. Training and orientation are provided.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state of operation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a nursing team under supervision.
• Customer service orientation with ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable to change; able to work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under licensed supervision.
• Provide ADLs within resident care plan and state regulations.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper mechanics.
• Record vitals, weights, intake/output, and other measurements as assigned.
• Turn/position residents regularly and uphold resident rights.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas and respond to call lights.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
