Job summary

Haverhill Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Geri Psych unit. This full-time night shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am) offers 32 hours weekly on the Haverhill campus, with a pay range of $18.13–$27.20 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities and delivering basic nursing care under RN supervision. Required: High School diploma or equivalent, CNA certification or RN student rotations, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA certification or RN student with two clinical rotations is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Deliver basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized unit.
• Support the team in the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit.

Provides assistance to patients with activities of daily living and delivers basic nursing care within the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit. Supports the maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse responsible for the team and/or unit.

Requirements:

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program.
• Certification/Licensure:
  • CNA certification or current RN student with documentation of completion of two clinical rotations.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Software/Hardware: Experience with Meditech is preferred.
