Job summary

Merrimack Health in Methuen, MA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time role of 24 hours per week. Shifts run days from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm on the Methuen campus, in the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit, assisting with daily living activities and basic nursing care under RN supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a CNA program. Current CNA certification or active RN student with two clinical rotations, plus BLS certification, are

Salary Range: $18.81 - $27.96

Position Summary: Certified Nursing Assistant, St. Joseph's. Part-time 24 hours per week. Days 7 am to 3:30 pm. Methuen campus

Provides assistance to patients with activities of daily living and delivers basic nursing care within the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit. Supports the maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse responsible for the team and/or unit.

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program.
• Certification/Licensure:
  • CNA certification or current RN student with documentation of completion of two clinical rotations.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Software/Hardware: Experience with Meditech is preferred.
