Job summary

Haverhill Hospital on the Haverhill campus is seeking a Part-time Certified Nursing Assistant for the Geri Psych unit, 24 hours per week, nights 11:00 pm–7:30 am. The role provides assistance with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The CNA will help maintain a safe, clean environment, document care as required, and support patient safety and comfort in a specialized geriatric psychiatric setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification or RN student with completed clinical rotations.
• Current BLS certification required (Red Cross or AHA).
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year preferred.
• Meditech experience preferred.

Salary Range: $18.13 - $27.20

Position Summary

Certified Nursing Assistant Geri Psych Part-time 24 Hours per Week. Nights 11 pm to 7:30 am Haverhill campus

Provides assistance to patients with activities of daily living and delivers basic nursing care within the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit. Supports the maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse responsible for the team and/or unit.

Requirements

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program.
• Certification/Licensure:
  • CNA certification or current RN student with documentation of completion of two clinical rotations.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Software/Hardware: Experience with Meditech is preferred.
