Job summary

Rouse Estate in Youngsville, PA is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care during the 2:00p–10:00p shift, Monday through Friday with no weekends.

You will assist with meals, mobility, comfort, and daily living activities, while reporting observations to the nursing supervisor and protecting residents' dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be fully certified through the state as a CNA.
• Ability to perform physical tasks typical of CNA work.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical, psychological, and social support for residents.
• Assists with activities of daily living, including meals, feeding, ambulation, turning and positioning, and providing water between meals.
• Transport residents, respond to call lights, and report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Ensure the dignity of all residents is preserved while performing tasks.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to add value to job accomplishments.

• Provide individualized physical, psychological, and social support for residents.
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding residents as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning residents; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting residents; answering residents' call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the resident to nursing supervisor.
• Ensure that the dignity of all residents is preserved as you carry out working tasks.
• Enhances nursing department by working together as a team to accept ownership for tasks while exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
