Waverly Heights, located in Gladwyne, PA, just outside Philadelphia, seeks a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate care team. CNAs support residents with daily living activities and maintain a safe, respectful, home-like environment while upholding high standards of quality care.

Our ideal candidate will hold PA CNA certification, deliver excellent customer service, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania CNA Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote hygiene and comfort.
• Helping residents with walking, transferring, and positioning to maintain mobility.
• Assisting residents at meals with eating and drinking per dietary needs.
• Regularly measuring and recording vital signs and reporting concerns.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of resident care and observations.
• Providing emotional support and companionship and promoting social engagement.

Responsibilities

Waverly Heights is currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Waverly's CNAs play a pivotal role in the compassionate care and well-being of our residents. If you are a CNA who is dedicated to making a difference by fostering a supportive and nurturing environment and delivering high standards of quality care, our CNA's daily responsibilities include:

• helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote hygiene and comfort
• assisting residents with walking, transferring, and positioning to prevent bedsores and help maintain mobility and independence
• assisting residents at meals with eating and drinking ensuring they are following their dietary requirements
• regularly measuring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration and promptly reporting any concerns to the nursing team
• maintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident's care, observations, and changes in condition
• providing emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and a sense of belonging
• ensuring a safe environment by keeping resident areas free from hazards and following infection control protocols
• positively interacting with resident families and promptly addressing any concerns
• continuing to learn and improve knowledge and skills by staying updated with training and certifications
• advocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicated and addressed with the care team
• following all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA
• performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare department

Our full-time CNAs are scheduled 37.5 hours per week. Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
