Job summary

Waverly Heights is seeking a weekend Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in Gladwyne, PA. CNAs provide compassionate care, assist with ADLs, support mobility, and help with meals while maintaining documentation and HIPAA guidelines.

The ideal candidate has PA CNA certification, excels in customer service, works well in a team, and shows a willingness to learn in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Part-time schedule includes every other weekend with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility and independence through transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Assist with meals and monitor dietary needs and restrictions.
• Regularly measure vital signs and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Job description

Waverly Heights is currently seeking weekend Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Waverly's CNAs play a pivotal role in the compassionate care and well-being of our residents. If you are a CNA who is dedicated to making a difference by fostering a supportive and nurturing environment and delivering high standards of quality care,

• helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote hygiene and comfort
• assisting residents with walking, transferring, and positioning and help maintain mobility and independence
• assisting residents at meals with eating and drinking ensuring they are following their dietary requirements
• regularly measuring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration and promptly reporting any concerns to the nursing team
• maintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident's care, observations, and changes in condition
• providing emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and a sense of belonging
• ensuring a safe environment by keeping resident areas free from hazards and following infection control protocols
• positively interacting with resident families and promptly addressing any concerns
• continuing to learn and improve knowledge and skills by staying updated with training and certifications
• advocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicated and addressed with the care team
• following all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA
• performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare department

Our part-time CNAs are scheduled for 24 hours per week which includes working every other weekend. Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
