Waverly Heights in Gladwyne, PA, is seeking weekend Certified Nursing Assistants to join our caring team. CNAs support residents with ADLs, mobility, meals, vital signs, and safety, delivering comfort and dignity in daily care.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting to promote hygiene and comfort.
• Assist residents with walking, transferring, and positioning to maintain mobility.
• Assist at meals with eating and drinking per dietary requirements.
• Measure and record vital signs and report concerns promptly to nursing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and changes in condition.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Ensure a safe environment by following infection control protocols.
• Interact with resident families and address concerns.
• Stay updated with training and certifications to improve skills.
• Advocate for residents and communicate needs with the care team.
• Follow HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
• Perform other duties to support the healthcare department.

Responsibilities

Waverly Heights is currently seeking weekend Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Waverly's CNAs play a pivotal role in the compassionate care and well-being of our residents. If you are a CNA who is dedicated to making a difference by fostering a supportive and nurturing environment and delivering high standards of quality care, please don't hesitate to apply! Our CNA's daily responsibilities include:

• helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote hygiene and comfort
• assisting residents with walking, transferring, and positioning and help maintain mobility and independence
• assisting residents at meals with eating and drinking ensuring they are following their dietary requirements
• regularly measuring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration and promptly reporting any concerns to the nursing team
• maintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident's care, observations, and changes in condition
• providing emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and a sense of belonging
• ensuring a safe environment by keeping resident areas free from hazards and following infection control protocols
• positively interacting with resident families and promptly addressing any concerns
• continuing to learn and improve knowledge and skills by staying updated with training and certifications
• advocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicated and addressed with the care team
• following all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA
• performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare department

Our part-time CNAs are scheduled for 24 hours per week which includes working every other weekend. Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
