Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nursing team. In this role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting their daily living activities and safety.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and collaboration with nurses to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting.
• Physical ability to lift and move residents.
• Current CNA certification in Nebraska required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, in electronic health records.
• Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Work with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
