Mille Lacs Health System in Minnesota seeks a Nursing Assistant to support nurses in delivering patient care. This role focuses on personal care, privacy, and safety, with documentation in the EMR and adherence to infection control policies.

The ideal candidate is registered as a Nursing Assistant with the MN Board, has a high school diploma or equivalent, and holds BLS/CPR certification. On-site work with a patient-focused team is expected.

Formación

• Registered with the MN Board of Nursing as a Nursing Assistant.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills.
• Computer skills and ability to document EHR.
• BLS CPR required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with patient needs including hygiene, nutrition, activity and treatments per policy.*
• Observes patients and communicates changes to the Team Leader.
• Documents patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (vital signs, intake/output, meals and ADLs).
• Maintains a safe, clean environment following infection control and safety policies.*
• Upholds the Patient's Bill of Rights and reports accidents or hazards promptly.
• Performs duties as assigned and uses proper lifting techniques with patients/equipment.*
• Uses PPE appropriate for the task and ensures patient privacy and dignity.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas neat, clean and stocked.
