Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be MN-registered Nursing Assistant (NAR) with CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to document in EHR.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient needs and comfort including hygiene, nutrition, activities and treatments per policy.
• Observe patients and communicate changes to the Team Leader.
• Document patient care in the EMR (vital signs, intake/output, meals, ADLs).
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following infection control policies.
• Uphold the Patient's Bill of Rights in daily care.
• Perform duties as assigned; use proper lifting techniques and PPE.
• Report accidents or hazards promptly.
• Protect patient privacy and dignity at all times.
