Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Nurse aide training certificate approved by IL Board.
• Active CNA registry listing or eligibility.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle emotionally and physically demanding situations.
• Competence in using basic clinical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks and assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Support residents in achieving independence in self-care activities.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing, ADN, and other staff.
• Demonstrate patience, empathy, and tact with residents, families, and staff.
• Adapt to interruptions and changing census while maintaining professionalism.
