Accolade Health Care LLC. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform fundamental nursing tasks under the direction of a Licensed Practical Nurse or RN. Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Certificate for nurse aide training approved by IL Board of Educators or equivalent.
• Active listing or eligibility on IL Department of Professional Regulation CNA registry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle emotionally and physically demanding situations professionally.
• Competence in using technical equipment and learning new materials quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks and assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Support residents in achieving independence in self-performance activities.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and regulations.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Administrator and team.
• Demonstrate patience and tact with residents, families and staff.
• Manage challenging situations with professionalism.
• Remain calm during emergencies.
• Follow English verbal and written communications.
• Learn and operate technical materials and equipment.
• Enter and obtain information using computer systems.
• Adhere to facility policies and care standards.
• Organize a flexible schedule to coordinate responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
