Job summary

Blessing Health System in Illinois seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide for personal care, emotional support and participate in routine clinical tasks.

Qualified candidates will have a CNA certification and either a high school diploma or equivalent, with opportunity for growth and onsite benefits at the Quincy facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or minimum 16 years old with an active CNA
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Requires CNA certification; PCA/SNA/PCT may apply with related experience
• Completion of CNA program or nursing program progress for PCA/SNA/PCT roles

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care and emotional support.
• Performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.
