Job summary

Blessing Health System seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Illini with responsibilities in MED SURG. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and providing emotional support under RN supervision.

Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent or at least 16 with CNA certification; CNA, PCA, or SNA experience; CNA certification in good standing preferred. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: High School Diploma or Equivalent; or, be of at least 16 years of age with an active C.N.A. certification.
• Must be one of the following: CNA, PCA, SNA – must have completed one of the following: Patient Care Experience; Completed a C.N.A. Program; Completed at least sophomore year of a nursing program.
• PREFERRED: CNA certification in good standing on the state Nurse Aide Registry, Certified Medical Assistant, or EMS.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides for personal care.
• Performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN and offers emotional support.
