Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily resident care in our Chicago-area facilities, including assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care. You will work under the nurse manager and may assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services to support residents’ comfort and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state, with registry

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry and dining services.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving and feeding.
• Maintain clean and orderly resident rooms and assist with transportation/transfer as needed.
