About The Role

As a CNA in our 17-bed unit, you will care for patients in adult cardiology and medical-surgical specialties, including CHF, ACS, telemetry monitoring, and chronic conditions. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a 3:1 patient ratio, high turnover, and a goal of maintaining a length of stay under 8 hours.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting licensed nursing personnel in patient care
  • Participating as a team member under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Assisting with clerical, housekeeping, and patient transportation tasks

Patient Care Responsibilities

  • Providing delegated care under RN supervision based on patient needs
  • Implementing interdisciplinary care plans
  • Supporting patient independence and self-care
  • Monitoring and recognizing signs of abnormal conditions
  • Ensuring safety, infection control, and proper documentation

Qualifications

  • Maintaining current CNA certification
  • Performing within legal and professional scope
  • Demonstrating ongoing competency and technical skills
