Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Springboro, OH is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA/STNA to provide compassionate, person-centered care across our communities and home health services.

We offer full-time or part-time opportunities on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts (11pm–7am) with starting pay from $18.50 per hour, plus shift differentials and a daily pay option. Join a collaborative team dedicated to resident independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Certification: CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio.
• Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents needing assistance with bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide support under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help residents stay as independent as possible in daily life.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Plan and prepare residents' meals and eat with them.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Job Types: Full-time or Part-time 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift (11p-7a)

Pay: Starting from $18.50 increases with experience plus $3.00 2nd shift differential $1.50 for 3rd shift differential

Responsibilities:

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
