Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/STNA) to provide compassionate, person-centered care in our communities, home health, hospice or office settings.

A valid Ohio CNA/STNA certification is required, with state registry listing and ability to assist residents with daily tasks, documentation, and mobility.

We offer full-time, part-time, 1st-3rd shifts and PRN with competitive pay starting from $18.50 per hour plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must have Ohio CNA/STNA certification and be listed on Nurse Aide Registry.
• Experience with patient documentation, communication and interpersonal interactions.
• Ability to use proper lift techniques and lift equipment to move and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents needing daily assistance (bathing, eating, ambulating, hair care).
• Provide support services under supervision of a nurse.
• Promote resident independence and comfort in daily living.

Open Positions: Full-time and Part-time 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift & PRN

Pay:Starting from $18.50 increases with experience

Shift Differential:$3.00/hour 2nd shift and $1.50/hour 3rd shift

Responsibilities:

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
