Job summary

United Methodist Communities' UMC HomeWorks is seeking a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant to fill staffing gaps across South Jersey. Earn $24–$28 per hour with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, and choose your own assignments based on availability.

You will provide daily personal care, follow care plans, support residents, and document care accurately. Active NJ CNA certification and at least 6 months in long-term care are required; 18+ years old and English

What You’ll Do

• Fill in and provide coverage for open shifts you've agreed to
• Support residents with daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Follow each resident's care plan and complete documentation accurately
• Make rounds to check on residents and provide consistent, individualized support
• Assist residents at mealtimes and with mobility equipment
• Build real relationships with residents while working alongside the care team

What You’ll Need

Required:

• Active New Jersey CNA certification
• At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care setting
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• 18 years of age or older

Pay and Benefits

• $24.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment
• Shift differentials: $1.00/hour evenings, $2.00/hour nights, $4.00/hour weekends
• Full control over your schedule: choose day, evening, or night shifts as they're available

Schedule

Per diem. Day, evening, and night shifts available across Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape May, Salem, and Cumberland counties, based on your availability.

Flu Vaccination
