Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care promoting comfort and dignity.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, walking, hygiene.
• Respond to resident call lights promptly and assist.
• Turn and reposition residents safely.
• Measure and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temp, respirations).
• Monitor food and fluid intake and urinary/bowel output.
• Observe changes and report to the nursing team.
• Assist with meals following dietary requirements and preferences.
• Remind residents to take medications and supplements as directed.
• Communicate with nurses, physicians, and care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policies.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Stay current with CNA certification and facility policies.

AM, PM, and NOC (Overnight) shifts available

Starting Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour

Shift Differentials

• PM Shift: +$2.00/hour
• NOC Shift: +$1.50/hour

Sign-On Bonus

• $750 after 3 months of employment
• $1,500 after 8 months of employment
  (Available for positions scheduled 56 hours biweekly or more.)

Position Summary

St. Paul Elder Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. As a CNA, you will provide hands‑on personal care and daily support to residents while promoting their dignity, comfort, safety, and independence. This position works closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive exceptional care in a supportive senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting comfort and dignity.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, walking, and personal hygiene.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and provide appropriate assistance.
• Safely turn and reposition residents as needed.
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respirations.
• Monitor and document food and fluid intake, as well as urinary and bowel output.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical condition, behavior, or overall well-being to the nursing team.
• Assist residents with meals while following dietary restrictions, food allergies, and personal preferences.
• Remind residents to take prescribed medications and nutritional supplements as directed.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, caregivers, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and resident care procedures.
• Stay current with CNA certification requirements and facility policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
