Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant in the Behavioral Health department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire (required).
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

The estimated total compensation for this role ranges from $21.00 to $25.87 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, education, credentials, and licensure. The exact starting salary will be determined at the time of hire.
