Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan serves as a caregiver to residents in long-term care, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, eating, transferring, and documenting vital signs and care activities, while following infection prevention policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in process of certification.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Document resident interactions, vital signs, and care outcomes.
