Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Kyle is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care under supervision. You will perform routine nursing tasks, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment for patients.

Education: high school diploma; CNA certification as required by state; current BLS. Experience: not required, but 2–3 years in acute care or rehab settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) as required by state where hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under supervision.
• Does not administer medications or independent patient care.
• Follows PAM Health policies and procedures; performs other duties as assigned.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
