Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Henderson is seeking a CNA to assist with patient care under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational Nurse. You will contribute to comfort, mobility, and daily activities while adhering to hospital policies.

This role does not involve administering medications or therapies. Qualified candidates will have a CNA certification and BLS, with high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) and BLS certification required.
• Experience: None required; 2–3 years preferred in acute hospital or rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities under supervision of a Registered Nurse or LVN/LPN.
• Provide accommodative services as part of daily patient care.
• Do not administer medications or therapies; follow hospital policies and guidelines.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.

Experience

None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
