Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Madison is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Madison, WI for a full-time days shift (7:00am–7:00pm). Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $27.00 per hour based on experience, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (e.g. medical assistant, RN student).

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products and assisting with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Perform hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
