Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide direct patient care under the guidance of nursing leadership in the Colorado Springs area. You will support comfort, dignity, and individualized care plans while collaborating with a dedicated hospice team.

Responsibilities include reporting changes, adhering to safety and infection-control standards, and participating in ongoing growth opportunities within a caring work environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and committed to improving patients' quality of life.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, and Aide Leadership.
• Comfortable working one-on-one with patients while being supported by a dedicated care team.
• Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel with reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Current CNA certification in the state(s) of practice.
• Eagerness to pursue additional certifications and growth opportunities.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of the nursing leadership team to provide compassionate care to assigned hospice patients in accordance with their assessments and individualized care plans. The CNA Collaborates with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition. The CNA follows all Company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.
