Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Johns Hopkins Care at Home in Maryland. This PRN/casual on-call role provides personal care and basic non-nursing services to patients in their homes, 1:1, under RN supervision. Commitment of at least 36 hours/month is required.

You'll join a patient-centered team that values meaningful connections and flexible scheduling, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative home-based care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Active Maryland CNA license.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Driver's license preferred.
• 6 months CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and basic non-nursing/non-medical care activities for the patient.
• Perform duties in accordance with a written assignment and under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Deliver care 1:1 with patients in their home under Johns Hopkins Care at Home guidance.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Certified Nursing assistant is a member of the home support team who is primarily responsible for providing personal care services as well as various basic non-nursing/non-medical care activities for the patient. These activities are performed in accordance with a written assignment and under the supervision of a registered nurse.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Requires active, valid CNA License certification with the Maryland State Board of Nursing
• Current BLS CPR certification from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Active Driver's license preferred
• 6 months experience as a CNA preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 17.00/hour - Maximum 17.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
