Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Greensboro is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN dayshift at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

The CNA role focuses on bathing, oral hygiene, rounds, transport assistance, and maintaining clean rooms and stocked supplies, with orientation and potential for advancement within a world-class inpatient post-ICU setting. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Hospital CNA experience or related field is preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less products and assisting with hygiene.
• Provide oral hygiene and basic mouth care for patients.
• Participate in hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to various centers and assist movers with stretchers/wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms, instruments, and stock levels; perform other duties.

Schedule:

PRN Dayshift - 7:00 am to 7:30 pm

Compensation:

$24.00 per hour

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
