Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for staffing per diem shifts with UMC HomeWorks. Earn $24.00–$28.00 per hour with additional evening/night/weekend differentials.

Choose day, evening, or night shifts across South Jersey counties based on availability. Must hold NJ CNA certification and have at least 6 months in long-term care, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CNA certification
• At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care setting
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Fill in and provide coverage for open shifts you've agreed to
• Support residents with daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Follow each resident's care plan and complete documentation accurately
• Make rounds to check on residents and provide consistent, individualized support
• Assist residents at mealtimes and with mobility equipment
• Build real relationships with residents while working alongside the care team
