United Methodist Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a per diem basis in Georgia. Earn $24.00 per hour base, with weekend +$4, nights +$2, and evenings +$1. Pick shifts you want and hear back within 48 hours of applying.

You’ll support residents across our assisted living and skilled nursing communities, providing personal care and daily routines. Requirements include NJ CNA certification, 6 months of relevant experience, flu vaccine or exemption, 18+, and English

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CNA certification from the NJ Department of Health in good standing.
• At least 6 months of experience in a nursing home or assisted living community.
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to talk with residents and nurses in English and read care plans.

Responsibilities

• Pick up shifts across our communities that fit your schedule.
• Assist residents with personal care needs including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Follow individualized service plans and keep accurate records of assistance.
• Conduct routine wellness checks and promptly respond to needs.
• Assist with dining support, safe transfers and mobility aids as needed.
• Communicate observations and resident status to the nursing team.

What You’ll Do

• Pick up shifts that fit your schedule across our assisted living and skilled nursing communities
• Support residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily routines
• Provide care in accordance with individualized service plans and maintain accurate records of assistance provided
• Conduct routine resident wellness checks and respond promptly to care needs throughout the day
• Assist with dining support, safe transfers, and the use of mobility aids as needed
• Communicate observations and resident status updates to the nursing team to help ensure quality care

What you’ll need

Required:

• Active New Jersey Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from the NJ Department of Health, in good standing
• 6 months of experience in a nursing home or assisted living community
• Flu vaccine, or an approved medical or religious exemption
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to talk with residents and nurses in English and read care plans

Pay

• $24.00 per hour base rate
• Shift differentials: evenings +$1.00, nights +$2.00, weekends +$4.00 per hour

Schedule

• Day, evening, and night shifts
• You choose your shifts
