CNA PAY RATE: $18.16 - $24.52 (+ $3.00 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL IF APPLICABLE)

SNA/PCA PAY RATE: $16.45 - $22.21 (+ $2.00 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL IF APPLICABLE)

Job Summary

The Unit is a General Medical/Surgical unit with a variety of patient conditions/diagnoses, including but not limited to COPD, pneumonia, diabetes, cellulitis, acute and chronic kidney disease, etc. Nurses are trained to care for the hospital peritoneal dialysis (PD) population. 3 General Medicine is also the back-up for surgical overflow for abdominal, genitourinary, wound debridement, and other general surgeries.

Education/Training/Experience

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Good verbal communication skills
• C.N.A
  • OR be of at least 16 years of age with an active C.N.A. certification.
  • CNA certification in good standing on the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Healthcare Worker Registry
• PCA or SNA- Must have completed one of the following:
  • Patient Care Experience
  • Completed a C.N.A. Program
  • Completed at least sophomore year of a nursing program (SNA)

License/Certifications/Special Requirements

• CNA certification in good standing on the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Healthcare Worker Registry (N/A for PCA or SNA)

• Non-Exempt Hourly
