Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Indiana.
• Prior long-term care experience is a plus.
• Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50‑pound lift test, fingerprinting for background check and reference check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking and transfers.
• Remind residents about medications and assist with daily tasks as needed.
• Make beds, respond to call lights, and document care provided.

Day Shift Hours: 7:00AM-3:00PM. Must be able to work every other weekend.

Summary of essential job functions:

The primary role for this position will work closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to our residents in accordance with their needs. Typical activities that you will assist our residents with include, but are not limited to, dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to reminding of medications, making beds, responding to call lights, and documentation of your work.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete a reference check.
