Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Indiana.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Must pass physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for background check and reference check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring.
• Remind residents to take medications, make beds, respond to call lights, and document care.

Summary of essential job functions:

The primary role for this position will work closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to our residents in accordance with their needs. Typical activities that you will assist our residents with include, but are not limited to, dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to reminding of medications, making beds, responding to call lights, and documentation of your work.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete a reference check.
