Park Place Health and Wellness Center in St. John, IN, part of the Providence Life Services family, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time, day shift (7:00AM-3:00PM).

You will join a team dedicated to enhancing residents’ lives and providing compassionate care. Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, mobility and transfer, reminding about medications, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Indiana.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Able to pass a physical, drug screen, lift test, background check and references.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking and transferring.
• Remind of medications and document care performed.
• Make beds, respond to call lights, and maintain resident safety.

Summary of essential job functions:

The primary role for this position will work closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to our residents in accordance with their needs. Typical activities that you will assist our residents with include, but are not limited to, dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to reminding of medications, making beds, responding to call lights, and documentation of your work.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete a reference check.
