Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Edmond, Oklahoma, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the nursing team part-time. You will assist residents with daily living activities including personal care, grooming and meals, helping to maintain their comfort and dignity.

This role emphasizes compassionate communication, accurate documentation, and teamwork with health care staff. While previous CNA experience is preferred, state-certified qualifications are required; weekend or evening shifts

Qualifications

• CNA certification as required by state regulations.
• Previous CNA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals).
• Monitor residents' comfort and respond as needed.
• Document tasks in daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs to Health Care Director and next shift staff.
• Manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.
• Follow company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.
