Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its nursing team in Oklahoma City. You will assist residents with daily activities of living, including personal care, grooming, and meals, while ensuring comfort and safety.

The role involves documenting tasks, communicating needs to supervisors, and following safety guidelines. Experience is preferred but not required; state CNA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene and meals.
• Documenting completed tasks and shift reports.
• Communicating urgent needs clearly to the Health Care Director and next shift staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily care of residents (personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals).
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort; respond as needed.
• Document tasks such as shift reports and resident records.
• Confidentially communicate needs to Health Care Director and next shift staff.
• Manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Job description

$75 bi-weekly bonus for perfect attendance for full time associates

$35 bi-weekly bonus for perfect attendance for part time associates

$1.25 per hour shift bonus for second shift

$1 per hour bonus for weekend shifts

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.


• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed


• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement


• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director


• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift


• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.

Legend Senior Living is a drug free workplace and drug screening will be conducted at the company’s discretion. This position may require the associate to work evenings and weekends as needed.
