Job summary

Diablo Valley Post Acute in California is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our 5-Star Medicare-rated, 200-bed skilled nursing and post-acute care team. This part-time role includes training, mentorship, and a supportive environment that values resident dignity and teamwork.

You will deliver daily care, assist with ADLs, follow care plans, observe changes, and document accurately while collaborating with nurses and therapists to support each

Qualifications

• Current, active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply—we provide training and mentorship.
• Previous skilled nursing or healthcare experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality daily care while promoting each resident's dignity, comfort, and independence.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals.
• Follow individualized care plans and perform nursing procedures under supervision of licensed staff.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support a clean, safe, welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support care goals.
