Job summary

Diablo Valley Post Acute is hiring full-time CNAs to join our compassionate care team in California. Competitive pay ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour DOE, with benefits and opportunities for growth in a 200-bed skilled nursing and post-acute setting.

As part of a 5-Star Medicare-rated facility, you will work with an experienced clinical team to support resident dignity, comfort, and independence while advancing your career in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Current, active California CNA certification required.
• Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply.
• Previous skilled nursing or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; dependable and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care focusing on dignity, comfort, safety and independence.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and meals.
• Follow care plans and nursing directions; document care and report changes promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with transfers and mobility as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
