Job summary

Diablo Valley Post Acute in California is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our part-time care team. You will support residents with daily living activities, document care, and collaborate with licensed staff to maintain high-quality outcomes.

We offer competitive pay of $21.00–$23.00 per hour, part-time schedules, a 5-Star Medicare-rated facility, and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• California CNA certification required and active.
• Experience in skilled nursing preferred but not required.
• New CNAs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care while promoting residents’ dignity, comfort, safety, and independence
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals
• Follow individualized care plans and perform assigned nursing-related duties under the direction of licensed nursing staff
• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team
• Accurately document care provided and maintain required records
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and other mobility needs
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support resident care goals
