Legacy Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Nursing Rehab team. This role involves assisting licensed nursing personnel in providing nursing care, participating as a member of the healthcare team under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and supporting clerical, housekeeping, and patient transportation duties across the hospital.

Located in Northwest Portland, known for its specialty programs and clinical excellence, including cancer care, kidney transplants, neurology, ophthalmology, weight-loss surgery, robotic surgery, rehabilitation, and more. Features Oregon’s only 24-hour urgent care alongside an emergency room.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care delegated and supervised by a registered nurse, tailored to the patient's condition, age, and needs.
• Participate in and implement interdisciplinary care plans.
• Organize and adapt care plans considering patient preferences and routines.
• Encourage self-care and independence.
• Recognize and address mental health signs and behaviors, especially in cognitively impaired patients.
• Maintain a safe environment, follow infection control protocols, and use restraints properly when necessary.
• Identify abnormal signs and symptoms, communicate findings promptly.
• Support basic nutrition and hydration needs.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies following established procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Current CNA licensure required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Maintain current certification and perform within the scope of practice.
• Demonstrate ongoing competency in technical skills.

Compensation

Pay Range: USD $20.39 - USD $27.61 per hour.
