Job summary

Rehab of Kansas City South is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Day Shift. This full-time role offers 6:20 AM-2:30 PM hours and requires a CNA certification or enrollment in a CNA program, with 6 months experience preferred.

You will provide compassionate daily care and support to residents in a safe, respectful environment. You will assist with activities of daily living, take resident rounds, report information to the nursing team, keep rooms clean and safe, and follow

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or currently enrolled in a CNA program
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience preferred or clinical CNA exposure
• Reliable, compassionate approach to resident care
• Ability to collaborate with residents, families, nurses and the healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents

• Record and report resident information as directed
• Make beds and keep rooms clean and safe
• Keep water pitchers within residents' reach
• Follow facility policies and safety regulations
• Report needs to the Charge Nurse or supervisor

Your Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll provide hand-on care and support to our residents while helping create a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate daily care to residents

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and personal care

• Making regular resident rounds and responding to resident needs

• Taking and reporting resident information as directed

• Making beds and maintaining clean, safe resident rooms

• Keeping water pitchers clean, filled, and within residents' reach

• Following facility policies, nursing procedures, and safety regulations

• Reporting resident needs and concerns to the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, or Administrator

• Working as part of the nursing team to provide quality resident care

CNA Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification OR currently enrolled in a nursing assistant certification program

• At least 6 months of CNA experience preferred, or clinical experience through a nursing assistant certification program

• Dependable and compassionate approach to resident care

• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members
