This role involves assisting licensed nursing staff in delivering nursing care, participating as a team member under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and supporting clerical, housekeeping, and patient transportation tasks across the hospital.

Responsibilities

1. Provide delegated care under the supervision of a registered nurse, tailored to the patient's condition, age, and needs.
2. Participate in developing and implementing the patient's care plan.
3. Organize and adapt care plans considering patient preferences and routines.
4. Reinforce care priorities and promote patient independence and self-care.
5. Identify normal and abnormal mental functions and address needs of cognitively impaired patients.
6. Maintain a safe and clean environment, avoid hazards, and adhere to infection control protocols.
7. Recognize and communicate signs of common health issues promptly.
8. Support nutritional and hydration needs.
9. Respond appropriately to emergencies following established procedures.
10. Complete accurate documentation as per guidelines.

Competency

• Understand and operate within the legal scope of certified nursing assistant practice.
• Maintain current certification and perform skills within authorized practice.
• Demonstrate ongoing competency through education and clinical experience.

Qualifications

Pay Range: USD $20.39 - USD $27.61 per hour.
