Join our team at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about patient care and nursing career advancement.

About the Role:

As a CNA in our 53-bed unit, you'll care for patients with diverse needs in adult cardiology and medical-surgical specialties, including pacemaker placements, CHF, ACS, telemetry monitoring, and chronic conditions like diabetes, COPD, and addiction. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting licensed nursing personnel in patient care
  • Participating as part of the healthcare team under supervision
  • Supporting clerical tasks, housekeeping, and patient transportation

Patient Care Duties:

  • Providing delegated care under RN supervision
  • Implementing interdisciplinary care plans
  • Promoting patient independence and self-care
  • Recognizing and responding to emergencies
  • Maintaining accurate documentation

Qualifications:

  • Current CNA certification
  • Knowledge of statutes, regulations, and legal scope of practice
  • Competency in technical skills and ongoing education

Compensation: $20.39 - $27.61 per hour
