Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Local Traveler position in Crookston, MN.

Job Details:

• Shift: Varies
• Schedule: PRN
• Weekly Hours: Varies
• Salary Range: $17 - $25.50

Department Highlights:

• Support multiple locations within 150 miles of your residence
• Mileage reimbursement
• Additional pay for float, weekend, and evening/night shifts
• Minimum 30 hours/month and at least one weekend shift/month required

Responsibilities:

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily activities under RN supervision
• Follow infection prevention policies and PPE guidelines
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, psychosocial support
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, walking, and exercises
• Support food preparation, dining, and hydration needs
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to nursing staff
• Gather vital signs and non-invasive specimens
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, wellness, and recreational activities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum age 16; prior long-term care experience preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process within 4 months
• Additional certifications like QMAP for Colorado, if applicable
• Maintain annual competency and continuing education credits
• State-specific requirements for UAP registration and driving, if applicable
