Eventide on Eighth Care Center in Moorhead, MN is currently hiring for part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for Overnight shift (10:30 pm-7 am). This position includes every other weekend and holiday rotation (24 hours per pay period). Set two-week schedule!

$2/hour evening/overnight shift differential and $2 weekend differential added to base wage!

The CNA assists in providing for residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs following established nursing care procedures under supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge.

Ideal Candidate

• Requires a current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license

Essential Job Functions

• Provide individualized attention to encourage residents’ ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Follow assigned resident care plan at all times.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, etc., as indicated on care plan.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and comfort, interacting with warmth and compassion.
• Follow safety policies and procedures for residents, staff, property, and self.
• Comply with regulations from the North Dakota Department of Health and CMS.
• Understand residents’ rights, including freedom from restraints, abuse, and neglect; report incidents promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Respond promptly to call lights and alarms.
• Perform tasks like checking vital signs, weights, applying lotions, etc.
• Lift, move, and transport residents using appropriate equipment and techniques as per care plan.
• Escort residents to appointments and activities as needed.
• Document care and relevant information accurately.
• Follow infection control procedures, including handwashing and glove use.
• Assist with resident laundry as needed.

Compensation

Estimated pay range of $22-$23.98/hour, based on qualifications and experience. Shift premiums and differentials apply.
