Join us as a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA - Local Traveler at Good Samaritan.

Overview

Support multiple locations within 150 miles of your permanent address, with mileage reimbursement and shift differentials. This PRN position requires at least 30 hours per month, with at least one weekend shift. Prior long-term care experience and active CNA certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care, including daily living assistance, vital signs, and psychosocial support.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and exercises using proper techniques.
• Support food preparation, dining, and hydration needs.
• Document interactions, communicate changes, and assist with non-invasive specimen collection.
• Maintain cleanliness and support recreational activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or CNA experience preferred.
• Active CNA certification required; additional certifications may be needed depending on the state.
